2nd Grade: 2010-11

The 2nd graders made these fantastic cityscapes by dipping their paper into a tray filled with water that they had dusted with powder tempera.  The next class they learned about silhouettes and then cut out buildings and glued them onto their backgrounds and used silver and gold metallic paint for the windows.

These pigs were made by attaching 2 small pinch pots and then scoring and slipping the snout, ears, tail and legs.  Amaco F-Series glaze was used.
